Toasted Pumpkin Seeds


  • Raw (preferably freshly scooped) pumpkin seeds
  • Drizzle of Tamari
  • Herbs: Basil, Chives, Parsley
  • Spices: Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

While carving a pumpkin, separate the seeds from the pumpkin and place them into a fine mesh strainer

Rinse the seeds and place them onto a lightly greased pan

Drizzle with tamari, herbs, and a pinch of red pepper flakes

Seal in the herb and tamari flavor with a drizzle of olive oil

Cook for 40-45 minutes depending on oven

Keep an eye on them as they burn easily. Taste one if they start to look done, you want them to cook until they crunch with no softness in the middle.

Once you remove them from the oven, let them cool on the stovetop and enjoy at any time for a healthy snack!
