- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Basil and parsley to taste
- 12 oz. wild Alaskan salmon fillet
Lightly coat a pan with olive oil or coconut oil (you only need a little but make sure to coat the whole surface so the fish doesn’t stick) then turn heat up to medium high heat (think 8 of 10 on your dial).
Place fish into a pan and sprinkle with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper, cook for 3 minutes.
Using a Spatula flip the fish and cook for 3-4 minutes on the other side, repeat sprinkling, feel free to add herbs like parsley and basil on this side.
Check with a fork to make sure it’s done, you will be able to flake the center apart.
Don’t overcook as no one likes chewy fish!
